Most-asked questions
Who pays for the appraisal?
In a non-fault accident the at-fault driver's insurer pays our fee directly — you have no out-of-pocket cost. For value appraisals (oldtimer, sale, inheritance) you pay; the price depends on car and scope, typical range €350–800.How long does it take?
Accident report: 2–3 business days from inspection. Value appraisal: 5–7 business days, depending on research depth. Will the insurer accept the report?
Yes. We are publicly certified (öbuv) where required and our reports are formatted to the standards expected by every major German insurer and German civil courts.Do you cover non-Hamburg locations?
Yes. The Hamburg metro area is our home turf. We also cover Schleswig-Holstein and Lower Saxony. Drive time is part of the insurer's claim — no extra charge to you.Looking for a specific topic? Our German guides: /ratgeber/.
